June in Jasper

I’m alive and well! It’s been a while since I’ve posted an update, which is sad because I want to share the exciting adventures and beautiful things I get to see while I’m here in the Rockies.

A several highlights of June was going up Whistler’s mountain via tramway with a really close friend/housemate. She’s amazing and getting to know her has been a blessing in my life (we’re going to Edmonton in 2 weeks! West Edmonton Mall, whaddup).

I’ve been more involved with volunteering with Parks Canada. I get to talk about Caribou (a species in risk that the park of Jasper is trying hard to raise awareness of) and at the same hike/see places I couldn’t go to without my own car. It’s really neat! Can you distinguish the difference between elk/moose/caribou/deer? This girl now can! My knowledge of Canadian wildlife has expanded an abundant amount.
