Rung in the New Year in Vancouver for the first time away from home! Spent the night enjoying the company of new friends, tasty food and camping. In the morning, we enjoyed a homemade-hearty breakfast and went to the beach (being walking distance from an ocean is wonderful, I like it). After slacklining (which was the first thing I learned in the new year!), we went for a polar bear dip!! It was freezing and freezing but worthwhile in every way imaginable.
Highlight of 2013: successfully landing an incredible co-op job that has provided me with countless fulfilling learning opportunities; skydiving over the Canadian Rockies; seeing and hiking Mt. Robson (in BC); meeting new/life-long friends; seeing/living on the West Coast
Thanking 2013 for giving me deeper appreciation for family & friends at home.
Goals for 2014: complete my first half marathon in May; continue living a life that encompasses travel; practice more yoga; experiences > things (in regards to how money & time is spent)
Truly excited for a new year and all the adventures that will come along for the ride!
