I went to the Capilano Suspension bridge several days ago with my sister and friend. Although the attraction is as touristy as touristy gets, the pouring rain made the trip quite an adventure. Upon arriving we were immediately given bright yellow poncho’s, I felt like I was on the Maid of the Mist in Niagara Falls.

But rain and all, it was lovely! We just made it in time to see the Christmas lights. Usually the park closes around 5pm but with the lights wrapping around the bridge and a lot of trees, the park was open until 9. Having the lights, rain and fog really made it special. And to keep warm I had a Baileys hot chocolate and mini-doughnuts which also made me happy.

Oh the simple things!
