Los Angeles Travelogue: Hollywood

blog, North America, Travel

After a half day at the conference we ventured out to Hollywood, easily accessible via the metro. Once we arrived at Hollywood Highland, we walked up and down the main street with the stars.

We had to see the Hollywood sign, it would be such a shame to be so close to it and not check it out. Following Alissa’s advice on her blog, we first tried to see the sign from the mall at Hollywood and Highland. DSC_0855It was small, as you can see, so we went to plan B. Plan B consisted of venturing to Lake Hollywood Park, located at 3204 Canyon Lake Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90068. The drive to the park was already worth it, we passed celebrity houses and clearly million dollar homes. Every other house in that neighbourhood must have been featured on cribs.

We made it! It was such a wonderful park that I wished I brought a picnic lunch and spent even more time there. DSC_0860 DSC_0870 DSC_0876DSC_0881 DSC_0888DSC_0929DSC_0939DSC_0949DSC_0951DSC_0952After our day of exploring we had a meal at California Kitchen. It was a perfect spot to grab a pizza and a beer and end of great day of adventuring Hollywood. DSC_0954DSC_0955
