Rattlesnake Point

blog, North America, Travel

This weekend my sister and I went on a mini-hike/walk at Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area with a group of friends. It was a ‘mini-hike’ in terms of length but actually quite challenging because of the amount of ice that covered the trails. It was like a sheet of thick ice that couldn’t be avoided. It was a balancing act of walking and skating with boots. Then I came home and made a huge pot of chilli (which if you didn’t know, is probably one of my favourite things to eat especially in winter, because you get so many wonderful things in a bowl!!) Time in nature, a morning spent with friends and afternoon cooking and eating a hearty bowl of chilli is exactly what I needed after a long week at school. Have a great weekend!
