PERSOQ: Snow storm

Remember how yesterday I was saying that the weather is unpredictable…

… Well it really is! I woke up to a thin layer of snow. It quickly melted as the sun peered through the clouds and I thought that was the end of the snow. But suddenly, in the afternoon, I was shocked to see snow blow around in the wind. The snow was more like hail in the beginning, then quickly turned to fluffy white particles dancing in the air and whitening the rooftops.

In Toronto, I’ve seen snow up until May but this is my first experience with snow in July. Arctic “summer”, you are full of surprises!

(going back inside, making myself tea, listening to jazz and reading my book – I feel like wishing you a Merry Christmas in this with this view!!)
